IO - Creating a PSK / WPA2 SSID

Introduction:

In this guide we will be going through the process of creating a PSK SSID. 

 

Process:

Step one:

Firstly you will need to select configuration and then AP group.

Step two:

You will then need to select the relevant AP group and then select settings.

Step three:

Once in the group settings you will need to select SSID and then add over to the right of the page.

Step four:

You will then need to fill out the name, security type, passphrase, broadcast and should you require VLAN configuration you can enable this option. In the broadcast section you can choose whether to enable or disable the SSID, under radio type you can select whether it will use 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz.

The SSID configuration also has advanced settings where you can enable other features which includes client isolation, rate limiting, scheduling etc.

Step five:

Once you are happy with the settings you can click save on the bottom right.

Step six:

The SSID has now been created under the relevant AP group.

Conclusion:

In this guide we have created an SSID which has been associated to an AP group.
