Cambium cnMatrix - DHCP Client Configuration

Purpose

The purpose of this guide is to demonstrate how to make the switch forward DHCP packets to the DHCP server for local subnets that it is routing for.

Pre-Requisite

This must be completed in privileged exec mode

Must have layer 3 interfaces defined

Configuration

Step 1

Enable IP Routing

enable
configure terminal
ip routing

Step 2

Enable the Service

service dhcp-relay
ip dhcp server x.x.x.x
