Configuring Auto RF on an ePMP 1000/2000 Series radio in AP mode:
To configure automatic channel selection on the ePMP 1000/2000 series master radio (AP mode), navigate to Configuration > Radio and select the “Enabled” radio button under the automatic channel selection setting.
To limit automatic channel selection to frequencies only in the 5.4 GHz band, the default ETSI license must be in operation. Applying a country code (such as GB) will enable the use of the 5.8 GHz band and will require the end customer to apply for a light license from Ofcom.
If a country license has been applied, this can be removed by factory defaulting the radio, or applying an ETSI other (OT) license from https://support.cambiumnetworks.com/licensekeys.
To apply the license key (if required), navigate to Tools > License Management and apply the key obtained from https://support.cambiumnetworks.com/licensekeys.
To see the frequencies that have been selected for operation by the ePMP radio you can run the ACS tool from Tools > Automatic Channel Selection. Select the desired channel width and click “run ACS”.
