Purpose
The purpose of this guide is to configure an EasyPass Guest Access Portal and SSID, and deploy this configuration to Xirrus and Cambium XV APs in Cambium XMS Cloud.
Pre-Requisites:
- The user must already have an XMS account.
- The user must already have a Xirrus or Cambium XV Enterprise AP onboarded to their XMS account.
Step 1:
Log in to XMS cloud using your admin credentials. Upon login success, the My Network screen will be shown.
Step 2:
At the top of the page, select EasyPass and click the +New Portal button.
Step 3:
After clicking the +New Portal button, the EasyPass portal wizard will open. In this example, we will be configuring a Self-Registration Guest Access portal. After selecting the portal type, give the portal a name and click the Create button.
Step 4:
After clicking Create, the portal settings page will open. Under the General tab, settings such as Session Expiration, Advertisements, Guest Sponsorship, Landing pages, and Session Timeout can be configured.
In this example, we have configured as session expiration of 1 day, a landing page of https://purdi.com and have required guests to enter login credentials before connecting.
Step 5:
After configuring the General portal settings, click the Look & Feel tab to open the portal design editor. The design editor allows you to customize the company name & logo, portal background image, and enable social media authentication via Facebook & Google, as well as configure disclosure settings such as terms & conditions and marketing data opt-in.
In this example, we have customized the portal with a Purdicom logo and background image, enabled social media authentication, and are displaying disclosure information on the portal.

In the resulting pop-up window that opens, move the desired SSID from the All SSIDs column to the Portal column (in this example, called EZPass Guest). Click the Assign SSIDs button to save.
Step 7:
After assigning the portal to the SSID, finally, save your configuration by clicking the Save All button. The EasyPass portal is now configured.
