Purpose
The purpose of this guide is to create a custom network report in Cambium XMS Cloud.
Pre-Requisites:
- The user must already have an XMS account.
- The user must already have a Xirrus or Cambium XV Enterprise AP onboarded to their XMS account.
Step 1:
Log in to XMS Cloud using your admin credentials. Upon login success, the My Network screen will be shown.
Step 2:
To begin the report creation process, click the Report section at the top of the screen, and then click +New Report.
Step 3:
After clicking +New Report, the report template screen will open. Name your report accordingly, and add a description and logo if desired. Add additional pages to your report by clicking the +Add Page button.
On the next page, select the data widget to be displayed, the time range, and give the page a short description. For this example, we have created report pages showing Top Clients By Usage, Top APs By Usage, Top Applications by Usage, and Clients With Lowest Health Score over a time period of 30 days.
The raw data for the report widgets is collated from all network profile and APs managed by XMS Cloud and is stored in XMS Cloud for up to 30 days.
Step 4:
After your report is complete, click the SAVE button to save it. The saved report can then be viewed, printed, or emailed from the XMS Cloud console.
Step 5:
If the report is to be regularly run and emailed, this can be set up by clicking the Email button when viewing the report in the XMS Cloud console. Enter the Email Address of the recipient, and select Yes next to the Make Recurring option. Set the report frequency (i.e. weekly, monthly), generation time, and time zone, and click the DONE button to finish.
