Problem Description:
There’s a known issue with the Siklu 2000 series AES hardware versions regarding the ability to process ARQ requests.
The fault is that sometimes the link goes down and needs rebooting following certain ARQ requests (it’s due to the AES processor chip used which has been upgraded in the new 8010 links).
This ONLY affects the following AES hardware models and NOT the standard non-AES links:
SIKL3321 EH-2200FX-ODU-AES-H-EXT
SIKL3322 EH-2200FX-ODU-AES-L-EXT
SIKL3315 EH-2500FX-ODU-AES-H-EXT
SIKL3316 EH-2500FX-ODU-AES-L-EXT
Cause:
ARQ requests not being handled by AES processor chip correctly.
How to fix:
A workaround is to reboot both ends of the link whenever the issue occurs. There will be no permanent fix for the issue due to the imminent release of the 8010FX-AES link.
