1. Connecting to the Base Station
The Dect base station is DHCP enabled when you first set it up therefore you will need to know the IP address that the base station has been given. However, if you do not have a DHCP server the IP address to connect would be 192.168.0.1.
Once you know the IP address of the base station you can connect to it via https. When the page loads you will be greeted with “Your connection is not private” Here is where you would select advanced then “Proceed to IP…”
2. Sign In
Once you have been redirected, you will now be required to sign in. The admin username is admin and the password is changeme.
3. Base Station Wizard
Now you are logged into the base station. You will be required to set up via the Base Station Wizard.
However please be aware you can skip this page and log straight into the base station configuration. The login details will be the same as previous. Username - admin and Password - changeme.
4. Network
Here is where you can set the base station to a static address. We always recommend using a static address especially when you are using other equipment i.e. UCM.
To do this you would set the DHCP mode to disabled and enter in the static IP details.
5. Master
Here is where you decide whether this base station is going to be a Master or a Slave
Master – By selecting master you are configuring this base station to be able to give information to the slaves. If you have multiple base stations we recommend assigning two of them to be masters (Primary/Secondary) and setting them up as mirror masters, this is because if the primary master happens to fail the secondary master will become the Primary Master and you will not lose service.
6. Radio
In this section you will be setting up the base station PARI master.
7. Finish
You are now given the summary of what you have just set up. If anything needs changing or hasn't been amended you can go back by pressing the previous button. However if you are happy to proceed you will click finish and the base station will restart.
As the base station reboots you will lose connection. When the base station has been rebooted and you attempt to reconnect. The credentials will still be the same as previous, the username is admin and the password is changeme.
