Siklu - Antenna with N-Type 5 GHz Radios

Description:

The Siklu EH-ANT-2ft-DL5 antenna is a 2ft diameter dual 70/80 GHz and 5 GHz band antenna designed for use with the Siklu EtherHaul kilo series radios utilizing the ExtendMM feature alongside a 5 GHz backup radio. The antenna allows both the Siklu and 5 GHz radios to be connected to a single antenna, taking up less space on a mounting platform.

Problem:

The EH-ANT-2ft-DL5 antenna uses RP-SMA radio cables for the 5 GHz radio connection. These cables are fixed to the antenna and are not removable. For 5 GHz radios with N-Type connectors, this poses a problem as the connectors on the radio cables are incompatible.

How to fix:

N-Type to RP-SMA cables cannot be used due to the EH-ANT-2ft-DL5 having fixed RP-SMA radio cables. Therefore, N-Type to RP-SMA adapters must be used for connecting both vertical and horizontal polarity outputs to the Siklu EH-ANT-2ft-DL5 RP-SMA radio cables.
