CNUT Upgrade Process for PMP 450 SM Units

Description:

This guide is to document the upgrade process of PMP 4XX SM Units using CNUT 

Method:

Step1: Add Network Elements

Discovery Target Options:

• Element Host Name(s)/IP Address(es)

Enter 1 or more Host Names/IP Addresses for each Element to Add. Enter 1 line per element.(You can copy and paste text into this field). Example     169.254.1.1

                                                                            169.254.1.2

• Scan IP Address Range

Enter 1 or more IP addresses or range of IP addresses to scan. Enter 1 line per IP/range. An element will only be added if the IP is accessible. Example 169.254.1.1-169.254.1.100

Step 2:  Ensure the SNMP Read/Write Community match the CNUT & the PMP 450 Units. Check the  Read/Write button for the SNMP Community String 1 Provisioning.

Step 3:  Navigate to View>Refresh/Discover Selected Network Elements

Step 4: Navigate to Update>Manage Packages 

Click Add and select the Firmware pkg file

Step 5: Navigate to Update>Configure. Check Select File Server Type : CNUT HTTP Server, then check the box for the PMP 450 SM Type

Step 6: Navigate to Update>Update Selected Network Elements

Click Yes to Update Network
